Sam Raykhlin




Sam Raykhlin was born February 16, 1948 in Kiev, USSR. The son of an architect, Sam has been painting since childhood. He attended the Technical Art School of Kiev (1970 – 1974) and the Institute of Art and Poligraphy (1977 – 1982) where he graduated with excellence with an MD in arts.  Sam moved to the United States in 1997 and currently resides in Atlanta, GA.



Because of his diverse talent he can paint in almost any style, although among his personal favorites are French Impressionism and Barocco. His most recent masterpiece was completed in April 2007. It is a rendition of the Sistine Chapel in a dome ceiling located in Country Club of the South, in which the artist combined the styles of Luca Giordano and Raphael. The work took over three months to complete.

                    


Sam Raykhlin is also a master portrait artist.
